Sometimes we think something has to be big to matter.

Big changes.
Big steps.
Big moments.

But the truth is, God often starts with something small.

In fact, Jesus Christ once said:

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed… nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20

A mustard seed is tiny — one of the smallest seeds you can imagine.
And yet, it grows into something strong, something lasting, something alive.

That’s how faith works.

It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It doesn’t have to be strong.
It just has to begin.

Maybe your faith feels small right now.
Maybe all you have is a quiet hope, a simple prayer, or even just a question.

That’s enough.

God doesn’t ask you to have everything figured out.
He simply invites you to take one small step.

One prayer.
One moment of trust.
One decision to keep going.

And from that small beginning… He grows something beautiful.

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” — Zechariah 4:10

So don’t overlook where you are today.

That small step you’re taking?
That quiet faith you’re holding onto?
That tiny seed of hope?

It matters more than you think.

A Simple Prayer

Lord,
Thank You that I don’t need perfect faith — just a willing heart.

Grow my faith day by day.
Amen.

Closing Thought

Great things often begin in small ways.

And with God, even the smallest faith can grow into
